Tyler League’s passion for personal finance began at an early age, driven by a natural curiosity for numbers and financial decision-making.
That interest led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from James Madison University, where he later also earned a master’s degree and advanced certification in education.
Before joining Clear Water Capital, Tyler spent 13 years in the Virginia Retirement System serving both in the classroom and at the administrative level. During that time, he developed a passion for helping others gain confidence and clarity in important life decisions — a skillset that naturally transitioned into financial advising.
Today, Tyler works closely with individuals and families to create comprehensive financial plans tailored to their goals and values. He believes financial planning should provide more than just numbers on a page — it should create confidence, reduce stress, and help clients feel prepared for the future.
Tyler takes pride in building long-term relationships and serving as a trusted resource for clients through every stage of life.
Tyler lives in Hanover County with his wife, Emily, and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, working out, coaching youth sports, and spending quality time with his family. Summer trips to the Outer Banks are a family tradition they look forward to each year.
